just realised today that my electric guitars have been collecting dust because it's been so long since i last played them. given the time i come home from work, i can't play them anymore except on weekends.

been playing so much acoustic lately though, and my left hand has become super worn down. to feel pain in my left hand is something that i thought would never happen again. but i have been so darn wrong. the skin is peeling now and it's PAIN. i thought my acoustic action was already very low. what's wrong with me. i never feel as comfortable on acoustic compared with electric, no matter how much i practice or play. it sucks.

played for live audience today. wow it's been a while. simple stuff, but it's still an experience i guess. still have sweaty palms...had to keep wiping down after every one or two songs...heh not sure whether it was cos i was nervous or what...but overall was fine i guess. first time i played my acoustic plugged in too...quite an experience to hear myself so loud and also quite freaky. cannot make mistakes cos it was so obvious. but at least the tone was relatively good lah.

alrighty. got to work tomorrow (*insert big big sigh*). why doesn't the weekend ever seem to last?

i haven't touched my guitars in weeks...and when i picked my strat up yesterday, i realised my phrasing kinda improved. i guess it's cos i've been listening to a lot of guitar-based stuff recently because i was hoping that it would prevent a scary slide back to super lousy skills. i think my skill level HAS dropped but my phrasing improved because i opened up my vocab. something like that. but heck it man...i just have to play more. this isn't going to do.

work has been alright i guess. trying to take it as a day by day thing...then eventually it'll pass. 11 freaking weeks more man. but i am going to miss it when it ends, because although the company and management sucks...the people are very nice. we laugh a lot, to help each other ease the stress. and everyone gets along...well...kinda lah...other than the fights we get once in a while but they always turn out okay.

i'm behind on my report, my logbook entries and all the crap. so...how? sigh...got to catch up with work work work.

i just wanna say...

one day, if i choose to be an engineer, i will make sure i will be a more outstanding one than you.

mark my words.

thanks for looking down on me before you even teach me anything.
i'm sick of screwing up with everything i'm doing. got to set some things down fast.

i have reached a point where i think i can put everything i have here down and move somewhere else. it's not that i don't like living in Singapore anymore. i guess to some extent, i need a break from things here.

once it was the expectations of others that stressed me, now those expectations fade and it's my own expectations that make everything uncertain. things change...somehow. and given how i hate uncertainty, maybe that's why i feel so lousy these days.

after getting a sneak peak into life as an engineer...i am definitely starting to wonder if it's the path i want to take. and if it isn't, what will my alternative be? see...uncertain again. yuck i hate it.

my intention of posting this entry is to make JH feel better because she's not around now...so JH read this ah! -WARNING please refrain from reading before meals....

i ate 面线 at a certain place in town [ask me if you wanna know exactly where].

then i had food poisoning. the doc says it's probably cos the oyster was probably left there the whole day and grew stale or something. cos i ate quite late...

i shitted till my kah1 qiu4 nuah, and puked till i wanted to die.
i think i might as well set up camp in the toilet. and i wonder whether there was THAT MUCH 面线 in me to start with...
ended up at A&E with a jab then the only reason why i'm not puking is cos the medicine is in there taking it's effect.

ah well. i'm not going to eat 面线 for a while...eeeew just the thought makes me sick.
i have MC for tomorrow, but i don't know if i should use it. i don't feel like working, but logically i think if i can i should...because it's $20 if i don't go...and although it's only very little money, it's still money. argh...guess i'll see if i feel better tomorrow. my hands are still trembling. yuck.

i wish to report a faulty car. i THINK when they manufactured the freakin' car they forgot to put the lever that's supposed to be behind the right side of the steering wheel. BECAUSE that is the only reason i can think of that explains why the loser did not turn on his headlights and did not signal before ANY turn. he cut into my lane and couldn't give a damn. this kind of losers should not be allowed on any of the roads.
