went to school at 12+ pm today, slightly late for computing lecture. just in time to hear the prof talking about deep blue versus human. computing lecture is honestly boring...but the tutorials are ok. so i shall not go into details. afterwhich i headed to MLT for maths. and lunched after that at the quad. again, all boring stuff which i shall not dwell on.

physics elect tutorial was ok...went through homework set 1. (which reminds me how i haven't done homework set 2) i got 19/20. almost full marks. but it's not good considering that everyone else around was getting 20/20. so that's what i meant when i said i was in a class full of scholars (pronounced scoll-las or scholar-bears as darren likes to call them). sigh it's depressing i tell you. but now prof aka dracula knows my name...ARGH! no more slacking for me. but the good news is, no physics elect tutorial next week! i.e. i go home at 2:30pm!

after tutorial i went to LWN library (a place where i haven't been for quite some time) to get some work done. yes...finally doing something about the pile of papers that's growing in my file. but it's not new work, it's clearing old tutorials like to tie up all the stuff so i can finally file them up. and i saw a guy who just got his phD taking his photos in the library. which reminded me of how i will get to wear the motar hat and graduation dress after i'm done with my degree. but the phD one still looks nicer...with the round hat and the irritating thing dangling at the side. heh. another sign that me need to work harder.

ok that's about it. nothing much to blog about, more of routine stuff. physics make-up lecture was great! attendance wasn't...but interesting topics man! quantum mechanics -- particle in a box, heisenburg uncertainty, einstein's energy-time uncertainty and schrodinger's wave equation. how can i be happier? glad i stayed back...100% no regrets.

Beneath the noise, below the din,
I hear your voice, it's whispering,
in science and in medicine,
I was a stranger, you took me in...
