today we played One of These Nights by the Eagles. it's a nice song...can't wait to master the solo then i'll be super pro. haha...but actually it's a rather easy piece actually, just the E minor pentatonic scale. with a lot of prebends. oh wells...DC plays everything like it's the simplest thing ever so what's new. we were trying the slides from 0-12 frets and upstroke for the 12-12-12...so it was sort of like a slide then *jang* then slide then *jang* again. quite fun...DC enjoyed it...*jang*-ing the whole way through. so he play play and suddenly the *jang*-ing came out of nowhere...

wonder how much sense the above paragraph made.

DC: sure, cannot...*grinning stupidly*

lame stuff aside, the strumming part sounds like he put a wah-pedal. but DC said it was the crappy guitar...let's not say what guitar it was...haha. just couldn't stop laughing.

my life revolves around nothing much at the moment -- school and EG. and trust me, you don't want to know about the former...so let me just tell u about EG...

i've given up on my tutorials. not going to do them. the sight of them makes me sleepy. so tomorrow i'll just be going to class to copy the solutions and hopefully come home to work on them. ARGH i got to start getting work done. efficiency seems to be dropping this sem. maybe because i haven't been attending lectures enough.

and now, 2 weeks without guitar. my life going to be even slower moving...but looking at it, 2 weeks to master the song...hmm
