i was freakin' late for EG today. 12 minutes late. after i parked my car, i made a mad dash through the carpark across leve 6 and...guess what, i ran into DC. haha...he said "OH late...RUN RUN" so i ran. then he turned back and shouted "kidding...just go in studio first". grr...the idiot. he was going to the toilet or something. haha.

we did more technical exercises...no i don't hate technical exercises...well if this was some other instrument i just might...but no, i quite like technical exercises. scales, rifts and styles sampling. eh...there's this thing from shred guitar called dorian sounds. sounds pretty metal-ish, rock...not punk...can i describe it? a sorta muted, shredding thing that makes my pick work hard and wear out fast. but who cares, it's fun!

this sem everyone seems to be working freekishly hard. it's so scary when someone messages me on msn at 2am in the morning asking me if i've done my maths tutorial cos he didn't know how to do SOME (not a lot, SOME) questions. and i haven't even smelt anything on that tutorial past question 1(a)! arGH! will all you people just stop it. it's only Sem2 WEEK 1 for crying out loud~!

aiyah ok lah. i can't wait for tomorrow. i want to try out the technical exercises i did today. and in a way i'm glad tomorrow is a public holiday. it couldn't have come at a better time. if i go thru a solid day (i.e. 9:30am - 7:30pm) of school, i'll just die. i'm not sufficiently warmed up and ready yet. sigh...wonder when or if i'll ever be. i'm falling so behind in tutorials (relative to the rest and to lectures). i wonder if i'll ever catch up. have i overloaded myself this sem? i just hope it's not to the extent i'll screw the exams. someone help me.
