i got both electives i wanted...so that's the good news.
today i went for physics lecture - somehow it felt more like a tutorial cos there were quite few students. and i didn't know whether to laugh or todie cry. i was in a room fool full of scholars. it's intimidating sia. and we learnt schrodinger's wave equation today -- hmm no cats yet. but anyways, partial differentiation is something i need to understand quite badly. i've got a rough idea, but need to link it up with my notes. thought physics was supposed to make me happy, think my life has become miserable.
prof was good. he's from norway...cool. and he talks with this accent...reminds me of "i wanna suck your blood muahahahaha..." - darn i'm so mean.
at first i was happy because he introduced waves (someone's favourite)...and i thought there were no equations involved. but self-deception does not work and even if it did wouldn't have lasted long. cos soon, the equations came fast and furious i didn't know what i was doing anymore. so maybe that's my problem when it comes to physics...i tend to take forever to absorb equations and derive forumlae probably due to my lousy maths foundation and it didn't help being in a room filled with brains that were so powderful i mean powerful that they did stuff so freakingly FAST. seesh.
so that was my first physics minortutorial lecture. i wonder how tutorials will be. one thing's for sure, i hope profH doesn't come around to develop a preference of calling me to answer. my first question set is due on the 18th. i need to make friends with a maths pro very badly...any takers?
after lesson, i came home and crashed. i was already crashing on the route home. sleepy drivers are super dangerous people. i couldn't keep to the lane, and kept veering off to the right everytime i nodded off. i wonder how many drivers had to avoid me today...i actually nodded off on the road...ARGH. and at this traffic stop, i nearly released my brakes and whacked the lorry in front of me cos i was so tired.
i came home, took a short nap and went to TP where i ran into mrsT. haha...just when i was looking for someone to complain to! timing simply couldn't be better. haha...what would i do without her? and i learnt some very important stuff...and i felt better after that. then it started to rain and i ran home in the rain. theraputic experience...made me feel refreshed and my brain felt recharged, but i need time before i actually look at any equations again.
man, it's gonna be a long semester i tell you...

Beneath the noise, below the din,
I hear your voice, it's whispering,
in science and in medicine,
I was a stranger, you took me in...
