timing is sometimes quite an interesting thing. and sometimes people who are trying to make changes require time. but how much time is too much time? i have not made my decision on my view about this, but when people want to make some changes but others around them don't allow them any time to let this change take place, it sure is a fustrating experience. and it sucks. but again, how would others know how much time to allow a person to change himself/herself/itself before taking some/any sort of 'corrective' action. cliche as it may be, time can be too objective relative to the good of people? no wonder so many physicsts spend so much time on time itself. and i wonder if i'm even making sense.

i wrote in to the school to see if they can do anything about my elective. but i'm as usual not too hopeful about stuff like this. i just hate living with the uncertainty - that my timetable isn't confirmed till the first day of school. ARGH. oh and i need an elective by the way, because i don't have enough AUs.

yesterday's EG was the most stress one i've ever had. DC wanted us to improv over backing tracks. i wanted to die. hey never so nervous in my life because i'm not sure what scale goes over what chord. headache. if anyone knows the theory behind this stuff please tell me in case (which i think is most probably the case) he'll make us do it again sometime. had to play by ear and it doesn't help that with EG the notes are all over the fretboard. but DC was pleased that i did have some sort of familiarity with the Ami pent. scale of about 4/5 patterns. need to be able to transpose them so that i can play other pent. scales and break out of the box pattern so that i can do more bends and slides. at least i didn't embarrass myself over the Ami pent. scales, but i did over the F#mi pent. scales and i could see DC giving that irritating grin at the corner of my eye. i must improve my improv soon...somehow.

went down to carrefour after lesson and found myself a whole lot of CDs at a steal. $5 each. originals somemore. i bought stuff like Oasis, Sugar Ray, Batman OST etc...bought like 5 CDs for the price of 1!

Beneath the noise, below the din,
I hear your voice, it's whispering,
in science and in medicine,
I was a stranger, you took me in...
