i have an addition my guitar family. haha...well sort of an addition, considering i'm going to get rid of my older acoustic. i got a new acoustic guitar yesterday. and after 2 days of sanding and polishing, i'm glad to say i have a new guitar.
basically...the details...
natural colour, no varnish...i think it's just matt finish. i changed out the strings cos the original ones that came with the guitar were too warm sounding for my liking...now i have extra light bright bronze strings. and i sanded down the saddle...so that the action is lower. now it's easier to do bends and slides. the feel is almost similar to my electric guitar now...but of course my acoustic is still higher. the saddle is so low the strings are almost flat there but never mind cos it's not buzzing. anyways, inspiration came from DC cos he was the one that taught me a lower action makes it easier to play...he brought in his and he could play it like an electric. just that fret range is smaller too. hmm...technical stuff aside, i'm really happy now. i have 3 proper, playable guitars or 3 different types of course. please don't say i'm nuts. haha...but i'm really happy. now i'm only limited by my own skills...no piece is unplayable. well...unless it requires pedals...but that's out of the topic.
i've been feeling sick since sunday. so now i'm really sick. i missed school today, only going for accounting presentation. so i spent the whole day working on my guitar. any idea how much more i'm behind time now? seesh.
ok lah...i'm going off to try to finish up my phy elective tutorial. i manged to do 1 out of 2 questions. just last week i was really really demoralised and couldn't even understand the questions. but now i can actually do 1 entire question. perhaps it's really a problem of self-confidence and pressure of the competition...still wondering...

Beneath the noise, below the din,
I hear your voice, it's whispering,
in science and in medicine,
I was a stranger, you took me in...
