i'm so darn glad it's over.
well...kinda, now the feeling of perpetual sian-ness because i have to study has been replaced by worry. because i don't know if i can pass (no not aiming for distinction). at least now i can just play my guitar in peace until the dreaded results come out.
no thanks to a certain MrC, who said "you know German instructions are sickeningly hard to read...i hope it's not a Beethoven piece " when opened the paper and saw the piece, i literally banged my head on the table, because it was by Beethoven and there went my 2 (or was it 4?) marks. i swear the person on my right literally laughed at me. argh...
the rest of the paper was quite ok i guess. the composition part was "..." because honestly other than making sure the rhythm sounded somewhat decent, there was pretty much nothing i could do because i still can't 'visualise' tune. i know the certain MrC can but common lah don't laugh at me. my answer for the cadence question was weird, but i decided to go with what i 'derived' rather than what i thought would be the right answer (for the usual cadance). the transposition was weird, because it wasn't the usual one with the key signature, but they gave everything in accidentals.
the more i think about it the less confidence i have in passing.
anyway, glad that i wasn't the oldest there...made friends with the guy on my right...not because he laughed at me while i banged my head on the table lah. but he was glad that he wasn't that old either. turns out he's a EEE postgrad student...after the paper went to TB plaza to have lunch and discuss about music and engin and stuff.
later in the day i went DI shopping. and around the funan area and saw a bunch of people protesting. there were more people taking photos of the protest than the actual people protesting...it was quite weird. anyway, walked the whole area from funan to sim lim. so i literally had the full workout and was so zonked, i slept very very early yesterday.
yes now my life is back to rushing assignments and catching up with work. of course one must not forget guitar-hugging...but first, i'm going back to catch more sleep and dream of a solution to my control assignment.

Beneath the noise, below the din,
I hear your voice, it's whispering,
in science and in medicine,
I was a stranger, you took me in...
