today's battle status:

things could have been worse i guess.

so what if i got a seat in the first row right in front of the chief invigilator in the hall,

so what if the one invigilator was taking video clips of us suffering with his palm-top,

so what if the other invigilator was reading a science magazine aloud to herself,

so what if the other 2 invigilators were talking about some research thingy they are currently doing,

so what if there was this weird ang-moh invigilator smiling (seems like at me but i really really hope not) nearly 90% of the time during the paper,

so what if i felt sick half-way during the paper and i couldn't shift in my seat because everytime i did, that freaky guy would smile wider

...so i was rather NOT distracted by all the random and unimportant stuff going on around me.

but i do wonder if i was seated at the back or somewhere in the middle i would be able to finish the question which i did halfway through because my brain simply could not process anymore visual images.

but it's alright, since many feel that it was bad, means i still stand a chance. yes, i'm getting increasingly cruel and mean, but that's how the world is...isn't it?

now i'm just hoping the rest of the world screws their life up so that i have a chance of getting nice GPA scores this sem.

but of course, my chances would be a lot better if i actually sat down and mange to keep my eyes open while i study. oh wells what can i say...i'll just settle for the former.

Beneath the noise, below the din,
I hear your voice, it's whispering,
in science and in medicine,
I was a stranger, you took me in...
