and so the results have come. and i have barely made it to year 2. please stop pissing me off and saying that it's an exaggeration. i nearly didn't make it. and i'm going to retake 2 modules next semester. i have no idea what i'm supposed to think/feel. just wonder why i ever let myself come to this. which is stupid now, given that i did have all the time in the world to ensure that things turned out anyway but like this. i probably don't even have the right to feel lousy. what more can i say? my GPA this sem is less than 2.5 (2.37 to be exact) so just stop asking me.

now i wonder if i can even get my degree with an honours. i don't know what to think anymore. after the results flashed on my screen i found a lapse in my ability to think. i have every letter grade possible in one single semester's exam i.e. an A to an F, and if you calculate, basically anything below a C is not acceptable as decent by judgement of the honours you get for each grade. i question my ability to stay in school from next year onwards. i can definitely say goodbye to first class...second upper is very extremely far away and i honestly haven't brought myself to settle for a second lower yet. but looks like i have to. no, the feeling is really literally shity. tell me what am i going to do. MIT might as well be on the moon...i shouldn't even be thinking about it anymore.

--------------------------------------------------

before that i had EG for 3 hours. 6pm to 9pm in the studio jamming and crashing. high was the word to describe how it was, but it wasn't action throughout, we took a 5-minute break where ray and roy went for a buffet as DC says...he hadn't noticed that ray had managed to go down to B1 macs and get himself a whole big mac meal. them suddenly roy came back with an apple pie...darn! all i had was a soya bean drink from the food court on the 6th floor. but i wasn't really hungry anyway.

ended up back in the studio early and chatting with DC about some music stuff among other things. and i learnt pretty much a lot from that 10-15 minute conversation. something about how to link the piano freq to the guitar freq. now i can read notes (tao gay) for guitar because i know the discrapancies. but it'll still be quite slow while i get the hang of it. i'm finding guitar to be a more technical instrument compared to the piano and it's a different style altogether, you learn shapes and patterns for scales rather than just going up and down the keyboard. cos of the structure of the instrument. yes i shall stop going into technical detail.

Beneath the noise, below the din,
I hear your voice, it's whispering,
in science and in medicine,
I was a stranger, you took me in...
