and so it was. i didn't think i was going to be a big deal, just wanted to go and learn something. probably find out why they're such big fans of U2, to see how much U2 has influenced them. but in tonight's concert, i saw something more in switchfoot that i never noticed before. they're a fantastic live band. and it was worth my money...every single second of it.

i don't know if they'll ever soar to higher popularity. but if anything, they definitely made my night and they've gained quite a few more loyal supporters to add to their family in different parts of the world.

i'm think the biggest contributing factor to sounding good live is something more than the
music you write...it's more than the notes you play. but the spirit you carry with you when you play your music. to bring it across with honesty and humanity. that's what i saw in switchfoot.

and when they played "we are one tonight". i felt what music was all about. the keys, the tune, the beats and the rhythm became secondary. it was just all about the soul.

if anything, i'm definitely more inspired and relaxed. wow amazing night. if i didn't go i never would have known what i missed. they just smashed into my top 5 favourite bands. fantastic.

Beneath the noise, below the din,
I hear your voice, it's whispering,
in science and in medicine,
I was a stranger, you took me in...
