i realize that if you say "chitty chitty bang bang" too fast, it becomes "shitty shitty bang bang" which is a totally different thing altogether...don't believe me? watch the trailer thingy on tv. seriously.

yes, you can depend on me for rubbishy comedy, but doesn't mean i'm not feeling lousy (ok maybe because this week's csi was gooood...FINALLY, this season has been kinda disappointing so far). it's going to be a tough week ahead with uncle M's absence, not to mention that i think i'm in the midst of falling sick...let's see, after uncle M comes back next week, prof O will be making his second visit, then we have to hand in our reports (which i haven't done), and it'll be 2 more weeks before i'm free - at least from the loser (my boss) himself...

december is going to be over very soon at this rate, since i'll still be working for the first week, going for camp for (almost the whole of) the next week and then out of the country for another two. thankfully school only starts in the second week of january...AV people, tell me...our BBQ/chalet thing how? (haha we're like continually pushing back...) ...ooh not forgetting i have david sanborn's concert to look forward to...and a few birthdays...

i think i may be looking for a good acoustic guitar with a cutaway, and go get it set up properly, so that i can play like clapton and hit all the high frets...but then again, most of the time when the sound comes out lousy, it's more the guitarist than the guitar. wonder if that's the case, because i heard the best guitarists can make a cheapo piece of plank sound like a billion dollars. but then again, that's just a long-long-long-long-term plan...but i've been doing so many things at the spur of the moment these days.

and to end off, let me quote oasis...the song sounds so happy...
"i would like to leave this city,
cos this old town don't smell too pretty...
and if i could leave this island,
i'd book myself into a soul asylum...
and here i go, scratching around in the same old hole...
so waddaya say, you can't give me the dreams cos you're mine anyway...
i'm half the world away....half the world away..."

Beneath the noise, below the din,
I hear your voice, it's whispering,
in science and in medicine,
I was a stranger, you took me in...
