today was the same as the last couple of days. more scanning...i feel like a robot already and i'm definitely not cut out for office work. someone help me.
i know this isn't really a big deal, but it bothers me...when we eat lunch with the rest of the gang (i.e. the aunties and company) we don't order drinks...and i don't like it...i need to drink as i eat or i feel crappy and dry (what an image huh...) but today when i made a small attempt to try to get a drink i failed quite badly. the drink stall woman came and asked us if we wanted to drink, before i could open my mouth and say something, the biggest auntie of our group gave a flat no in reply...HELLO who gave her the right to speak for me? argh.
anyway, small stupid issues aside...today we ordered our safety shoes, helmet and safety belt. what scares me the most? the safety belt...because to me, a safety belt implies climbing out high buildings and hanging there. oh no, i wonder how i'm gonna deal with this one.
after work came home to relax a while before going out to j8. was kinda an attempt to break my go-work-go-home cycle and at the same time meet up with a few of the np people i used to hang out with when i was in sn. it was quite weird and awkward though, but still ok lah...they're really great people and i haven't seen them since i graduated from sn.
as we were leaving i ran into mrK so had a talk with him. wow...haven't seen him in a while despite going to bishan so often. his a nice guy hence a pleasure to run into. haha...did i mention he's nice to bully as well?
this has got to be the most exciting day so far this week...maybe i should head out more often. hey tong shou, see - i work but i still go out ok! not like SOME PEOPLE who lie around at home everyday and i wonder what for. seesh....so nope i still cannot understand SOME PEOPLE. bleah.
last but not least, i would like to end by saying...
from my past few days experience, i think bossini makes the most comfortable polo shirts, but the range of colours they have it in is TERRIBLE. 8 colours - those super bright, eye-catcthing kind. i wanted to buy more...but i didn't have much of a choice. now i'm having a dilemma to go for the comfort and just heck the image. but i wonder how weird i'll look in those colours. sigh...tell me how?
