EJ's concert. the guy is seriously talented and he rocked the indoor stadium despite the lousy lousy acoustics -- which was more evident because i sat somewhere different from usual.
initially the sound was terrible, the clipping in the system...the first note he played had me cringing. but later it was better partially because i became used to it, partially because the sound guy lowered the stuff.
can tell he seriously enjoyed himself. and if i were to guess i think it has something to do with him specially requesting to come down here to perform when it wasn't on the plans originally. and he made every single person in the audience feel special. the concert was 100% worth it. 2.5 hours non-stop, he just went on and on and on...like that battery commercial rabbit. fantastic.
concert stuff aside. there was one thing that made me quite pissed off. and that's that the SIS usher kept picking on me. there were so many people taking videos with their phones but she kept choosing stop me and no one else. maybe because she thought i was a kid. it was to the extent that the moment i took out my handphone, she came down the stairs and stood in the isle by my row. EVEN WHEN I TOOK OUT MY PHONE TO REPLY AN SMS. at one point i was very tempted to take out my phone, pretend to take some photos and when she came down, i would turn the cameras on her and take a big fat photo of her with a big fat flash, then post it all over the net. argh.

SIS before the concert, crowds streaming in. (it was full-house by the way)

a very poorly taken photo of the stage setup. EJ's piano with FOUR monitors. i think he enjoys surround sound man. haha...

the man himself playing "the bitch is back". though i could hardly see him, he sounded fantastic. the lighting effect thing was great. think it's similar to the one U2 used on their vertigo tour.
the guitarist (Mr Davey Johnstone) with his double-neck SG. -- him, the drummer and bassist all had long hair and somehow, whenever they like turned and stuff, their hair flowed in a fashion that looked like there's a fan blowing it back (maybe there was but i couldn't see) but the both of them looked like they should go advertise for some fashion/shampoo thing. hehe...

EJ's magic fingers. they don't play the piano, they GLIDE across the piano and the notes come out...in a way it's freaky, but the guy is SERIOUSLY TALENTED.

Beneath the noise, below the din,
I hear your voice, it's whispering,
in science and in medicine,
I was a stranger, you took me in...
