ok i just wanted to say today's visit sort of gave me time to resolve the things i've been thinking about. the idea of cutting down on audio stuff for a while and concentrate on EG. i've always had my doubts about cutting down on doing audio stuff cos somehow i thought i would feel lousy upon doing so. but i'm thinking of venturing into other areas like arts management. and i've realised my interest isn't just about audio...it's more than that. and i guess time off will enable me to take a step back and give me more time to experiment with stuff i like to do. so i have decided that's what i'll do. there's nothing wrong with taking a step back, and in fact i believe getting a little involved in the performance aspect will enable me to understand my audio better.

therefore...i'm formally and finally announcing this:
I'M QUITTING CONCERT ENGINEERS. 100% FOR SURE.
yes you did not see wrong. say i don't have commitment or am irresponsible. whatever it is, i have my reasons...and i need not convince anyone but myself. anyway i believe i'm not irreplacable.

sometimes it's more than the work that determine how you work. it's the people you work with. i don't dislike/hate/any-other-negative-word the CE people...it's just that i think there's something short there, perhaps it's just myself wanting to take a new perspecitve. oh wells.

i'm glad i went for EY event today. really did help me sort stuff out. like, doing audio 100% may mean i may never get to be an SM (stage manager) again. not the kind of opportunities i get in CE. so...yeah i'm outta there once and for all. thanks to ana, grace and the laselle peeps most of whom i'm unsure of their names (once again i apologise for my lousy memory)...hope to meet up with you guys soon!

Beneath the noise, below the din,
I hear your voice, it's whispering,
in science and in medicine,
I was a stranger, you took me in...
