had driving with uncle ong today. yes...not al again, but uncle ong is good too. everytime i have his lesson we really talk a lot...from school stuff to current affairs to i-don't-know-what-else.
we were talking about the NKF issue as i drove along. i notice that i always drive better when i'm having a casual chat with my instructor. although sometimes i'd be slightly distracted...but it's better than when i'm all nervous. wish i could have a nice chat with my tester too, but that'll never happen. ah whatever. i just need to be all cool and collected.
as for the NKF issue, now that the guy has stepped down, i think it should just be put behind us. donations shouldn't stop...or else the poor patients will be the ones who suffer. i guess it'll be a lesson to all...esp the charity organisations. now the NKF has to regain the confidence of the people. and it's not going to be easy...trust is something that's never simple and once it's gone, it's very hard to regain.
ok, i need to have an early night. require all the alertness and coolness for tomorrow's test. grrs. hope i pass...

Beneath the noise, below the din,
I hear your voice, it's whispering,
in science and in medicine,
I was a stranger, you took me in...
